Meet the Artist in the Sanctuary: Afshan Khan

Afshan Khan is a self-taught abstract artist based in Balzac, Alberta. Through colour, texture, and movement, she creates intuitive works inspired by Canadian landscapes—especially expansive skies and the rich tones of autumn.

Rooted in themes of healing, mindfulness, and spiritual awareness, her art invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect inward. Afshan also offers community workshops such as The Healing Palette and Let It Flow, where creativity becomes a pathway to self-expression and connection.
